Throughout the 60’s and 70’s, Peter Brown, the designer at iconic mid-century modern furniture house TH Brown, was busy creating design masterpieces that perfectly captured the mood and imagination of homeowners and stylists throughout Australia and the world.
One piece that rapidly developed a cult following and has since become a highly desired and sought-after item in the MCM collectables market is the Rondo Pouffe’ Table Suite (also known as the Fondue, Propeller or Pouffe Table).
This classic occasional table suite consists of a round glass topped table resting on a beautifully shaped solid dark ash frame. Three distinctive, oval shaped pouffe seats elegantly nestle underneath, providing additional seating when needed whilst minimising use of room space.
